About Deb

Hi, I'm Deb Karpek, the woman behind the website. I've been studying Reiki since 2001, and practicing since 2003. I received my Usui and Karuna Reiki Master training from the International Center for Reiki Training. I am a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals, the Better Business Bureau, the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce, the Reiki Membership Association, and a Registered InWellness Provider. I am approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.

I am 50 something, married and live in the Midwest. I have experienced profound life changes as a result of having Reiki in my life. These changes have been on all levels - mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. Reiki is so powerful, and so gentle at the same time. It has been a powerful tool for self-discovery for me and I continue to evolve, studying, practicing, and receiving Reiki on a continual basis. We can learn so much from the Reiki energy!

I try, to the best of my abilities, to walk the Reiki path, and to help others discover the healing benefits of Reiki. I have a private practice and I teach, both in that practice and in the community. I love to pass it on! If you are interested in learning more about Reiki, please contact me.
